3. Snowboarding's Dead Ep. 1 // Minnesota

Snowboarding's Dead Ep. 1 // Minnesota

This is episode 1 of snowboarding's dead, an inside look at Minnesota, a hub for snowboarding, and all around amazing place. Over the years, a lot of great snowboarders have come from Minnesota, and as i spend more time there, it becomes more and more apparent why. Not known for its Big mountains, but more for rope tows, amazing snowboard parks and a snow blanketed urban landscape make this place one of a kind. Minnesota also has some awesome local shops, including Zombie, youth shelter supply, Damage, and cal surf. This place rules and if you get a chance to go hang there I strongly suggest it Film & Edit by Loren Brinton Additional Filming : Kevin Castanheira Colton Morgan Art: Ty Modz Riders: Alex Andrews | Brady Lem | Shane Ruprecht Joe Sexton | Danimals | Boody | Michael Wick

Snowboarding's Dead Ep. 3 // North Carolina

This is the third episode of Snowboarding's Dead! The local's took us in with open arms, and showed us what it's like being a snowboarder in North Carolina. There is really something special about this place, and going there as an outsider, opened my eyes to how amazing the culture of snowboarding can be even in places you didn't know it existed. The local snowboard shops, people and amazing scenery are what make this place so unique. I hope you enjoy the episode and if you get the chance to check out North Carolina, I strongly suggest you do it! Beach Babes

"In her video work, Jae Matthews creates minimal and charged spaces: dark and intimate emotional portraits of intense and transcendent human moments. She addresses themes of sexuality, representation, and class culture. Her new video installation, Beach Babes, creates a saccharine and devastating portrait of an emotional descent at sunset." -- Alee Hosher, Non-Fiction Gallery Beach Babes, 2013 VHS installation piece, shown on a small archaic television with scratchy speakers and snowy visual quality. Fabulous Blues Brothers (Promo)

At the one-off rehearsal Willy handed me some old video tapes in the hope that they were still working and I managed to rip the contents to a digital format and post on here. This was the original promo/demo video we did at the Hornsby RSL club several years ago. It features myself as Jake, the late, great Mansel Williams as Elwood and Nadia Ackerman on backup vocals. On guitar, as always is the ever youthful Mark "Willy" Wilson, Quigs on drums, Cameron "Throbber" Andrews on keys, Marcus "The King" Stafford on trumpet, Ty Pederson on trombone, Jason Race on alto sax, Craig Driscol on baritone sax and sadly I cannot make out who we had on bass at the time... if anybody knows please post it will you!!

20. Central Valley vs. West Valley 2005

Central Valley vs. West Valley 2005

Back in 2005, the Shasta Lake Bulletin produced a DVD of the Central Valley Falcons undefeated season where they went 12-0 and won the only football section championship in the school's history. On that DVD in the Special Features section was a short video of the Central Valley and West Valley junior pee wees playing a scrimmage during halftime of that year's Valley Bowl game. Some of those players will be playing each other Saturday as Central Valley travels to West Valley for the Division II championship. Can you pick out any of this year's players in this video? From Sean Moore: In reviewing the film, and comparing with an old roster, I have found the following. Logan German 34 Timmy Naylor 16 Kolton Naylor 44 Jordan Ryan 76 Connor Silveria 1 Dakota Jones 32 In looking at the rest of that Jr Peewee Roster and comparing with the current Varsity roster, I don't believe there is anyone else. Also, interesting fact, #33 in the film is Alex Talledino who is currently tearing up as WR at Enterprise. Also, I do have an email from the West Valley Jr Peewee coach back in 2005 where he had sent me his roster prior to the game. Some notables from that team will be playing as well, such as Austin Clark and Brady Cassleman, if you are interested. This is the complete roster if you want to compare with their current Varsity roster. West Valley 2005 Jr. Peewee Roster 2 Daniel Arnerich 3 Kyle Weiss 5 Ryan O'Connor 7 Dylan King 8 Toby Nunnelley 9 James Arnerich 10 Ty O'neal 11 Eryk Wehunt 16 Taylor Andrews 24 Justin Costa 35 Chace Savage 37 Austin Clark 40 Xavier Block 45 Brady Casselman 53 Turner Carnahan 54 Joshua Davaris 56 Austin Steele 57 Durham Pearson 60 Brandon Barentine 61 Brandon Popp 63 Nathaniel Hambleton 65 Dino Kemp 67 AJ Haley 71 Jeremy Williams 73 Zachary Jones 75 TJ Baugh 76 McKenna Basnett 81 Derek Turner 82 Dean McComas 88 Joshua Parker
